| Colson & Colson was founded in 1963 as a general contracting partnership between Hugh D. Colson and his son, William E. Colson. Since then, the company has developed and constructed multi-family housing, single family housing, and commercial and retail space throughout the United States, Canada and England. |
| Beginning in 1979, Colson & Colson began focusing almost exclusively on the construction of retirement residences. As of December 2009 Colson & Colson has built over 300 retirement residences in the United States, Canada and England. |
| Colson & Colson has over 50 employees, with corporate headquarters in Salem, Oregon, and temporary offices at construction sites. |
